About Learn Kurdish

Learn Kurdish is an educational platform dedicated to protecting and promoting the Kurdish language, culture, and history. We have trained AI models and developed tools that are safe, culturally adapted, and designed exclusively for Kurdish language education. By using our platform, you agree to these Terms of Service.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Learn Kurdish (the “Platform”), including the website, progressive web app, and any future mobile applications, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

User Accounts

• You may create an account using Google, Apple, or email and password.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• One person may not maintain multiple accounts. We reserve the right to merge or remove duplicate accounts.
• For users under 13, a parent or guardian must create and manage the account.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Learn Kurdish only for its intended educational purpose. You may not:

• Use the Platform or its AI tools for any purpose beyond Kurdish language education as defined by us
• Attempt to extract, scrape, or reverse-engineer our content, curriculum, AI models, or proprietary systems
• Abuse, harass, or submit harmful content through AI conversation features
• Share your account access with others or allow unauthorized use
• Attempt to circumvent access controls, subscription limits, or rate limits
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Platform
• Distribute, reproduce, or commercially exploit any content from the Platform

AI-Powered Features

Learn Kurdish includes AI-powered tools such as conversational tutoring, text-to-speech, and speech recognition. Regarding these features:

• AI responses are generated for educational purposes and may occasionally contain errors. They should not be relied upon as the sole source of linguistic authority.
• Conversations with the AI tutor may be temporarily recorded for safety monitoring and quality improvement. Records are automatically deleted after 30 days.
• You are responsible for your interactions with AI features. Do not use them for any purpose beyond language learning.
• We reserve the right to limit or suspend AI feature access if we detect misuse.

Subscriptions and Payments

Learn Kurdish offers free and paid subscription plans. For paid plans:

• Pricing, features, and plan details are displayed at the time of purchase
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable advance notice
• Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase

Intellectual Property

All content, curriculum, AI models, software, design, and branding on the Platform are the exclusive property of Learn Kurdish App and its investors. This includes but is not limited to:

• Curated lesson content, word lists, and sentence structures
• Game mechanics, scoring systems, and engagement features
• AI models trained for Kurdish language education
• User interface design, animations, and visual assets
• The Learn Kurdish brand, logo, and trade dress

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without our explicit written permission.

Your Content

Any content you submit through the Platform (such as AI conversations or profile information) remains yours. However, by using the Platform, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and analyze this content solely for providing and improving the educational service.

Limitation of Liability

Learn Kurdish is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, misuse AI features, or engage in any activity that harms the Platform or its users. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us.

Beta Status

Learn Kurdish is currently in beta. Features may change, be added, or be removed as we continue development. We appreciate your feedback during this phase and encourage you to report issues or suggestions.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service as the Platform evolves. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of Learn Kurdish after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
